Iconic Alphabet- Sirin

An assignment for Hand Lettering for an Iconic Alphabet to illustrate the word out of what the word itself is.

Sirin or more commonly seen written as Siren are creatures from various cultures that are sometimes depicted as half-fish, half-human, not as often are depicted as birds with woman’s features or just a woman’s face. Within Slavic and Eastern European folklore there are many figures of Sirins using the spelling with the i in place of the more commonly seen e.
